The Bus Stop Sessions
Intimate Live Music Venue & Listening Room in the Heart of Appalachia.
Intimate Live Music Venue & Listening Room in the Heart of Appalachia.

The Bus Stop Sessions are an intimate live music experience located inside the Bus Stop Artisan Market & Workshop, a beautifully repurposed historic bus terminal in downtown
Big Stone Gap, Virginia.
With seating for 30 guests, The Bus Stop Sessions are designed as a true listening room where music takes center stage. Every performance is up-close, personal, and focused on creating a meaningful connection between artists and audience.
The venue is made possible through the generosity of Ryan and Debbie Adams, owners of the Bus Stop Artisan Market & Workshop, who are opening their unique space to bring live music into the heart of downtown Big Stone Gap.
The Bus Stop Sessions are curated and booked by Stephen Murray and Brandon Maggard, with a focus on hosting touring artists passing through the Appalachian region. By offering mid-week performances, Bus Stop Sessions creates a welcoming stop for musicians traveling between larger markets to give audiences the opportunity to experience nationally and regionally known touring artists in an intimate setting.
